Internal Design Team

Nautilus, Inc. has revolutionized the strength category with the first-ever “smart” dumbbells. The Bowflex® SelectTech® 560 Dumbbells are the only home strength product with built-in brains that act like a personal trainer to guide users through every exercise while tracking reps, sets, calories burned, as well as providing feedback on form.

Based on customer feedback, our design team engineered a one-of-a-kind product that offers a fully interactive experience to work out harder and smarter:

  • • An integrated and proprietary 3DT™ built-in electronic sensor records reps, weight lifted, and provides an audible cue when users complete each rep properly. Information can be seen on the dumbbell screen or connected app via tablet or mobile phone.

  • • The 3DT app features a full library of video exercises and allows users to set and track goals, progress, calories burned, share results with friends and more via Bluetooth® technology to mobile devices.

  • • A pair of SelectTech 560s replaces an entire rack of dumbbells. The space-saving, ergonomic design reduces the number of separate dumbbells from 32 down to only two.

  • • Changing the weight is as easy as twisting the handle to adjust weights incrementally from 5 to 60 pounds or 2.3 to 27.2 kilos to create a customized strength workout.
